Friendship FD Station 9
Friendship Fire Department is in the process of building a new Department where the older building used to stand. Demolition of the old building started in the first of May. We hope to be in the new building by October.
The original Friendship Fire Department was built in 1980 and had only three bays. Several years later, additions were made. It was a 7 bay station that houses three engines, two tankers, one brush truck and a rescue truck. The station had a day room, office, bathroom, several rooms for equipment houseing. Upstairs contained a classroom and sleeping quarters.
